Q: Can *anyone* order online through me?
A: Yes, as long as you live in the United States, and the computer, internet service, & browser you're using are up to the task, and you have a credit or debit card (VISA, M/C, or Discover) for payment.
Q: Can I still order through you by emailing or telephoning you my order like I've always done?
A: ABSOLUTELY! Our online ordering system was created because SO many people have requested it due to their preference for the convenience and safety of internet shopping these days. And another advantage to ordering online is that when you place the order yourself, you will receive your products faster because your order goes directly into the picking queue immediately. But I am CERTAINLY happy to continue accepting and processing your email or telephone orders as I've always done! If you're not "into" internet shopping, then nothing about how you order needs to change. Please feel free to continue contacting me directly, if you prefer.
Q: How do I place my order?
A: The online shopping system is really easy to use - with only 2 potentially tricky parts:
- The first potentially tricky part will be to remember the name of my website to get started. Probably the easiest way will be to click either the online ordering button that will appear in the margins of my general website - or just click here to jump directly to my official Stampin' Up! demonstrator website Home Page.
- The next thing to remember is that you MUST begin at my Home Page, and then click the "Shop Now" button in the upper right-hand corner. Please do not attempt to create a shortcut to bypass my Home Page and jump directly into the shopping system; doing so carries the potential for creating mix-ups and errors behind the scenes.
Ok, so once you have reached my Home Page, click on the "Shop Now" button in the upper right-hand corner, and from there you will be able to see our products grouped by category. You may browse to your heart's content, and add things to your shopping bag as you wish. When you're ready to check out, the system will guide you step-by-step, pretty much like any other online shopping site.
Q: Will you still receive credit for the orders I place online?
A: YES, as long as you confirm that my name appears at the top of the page as you're ordering. (My name *should* appear if you have entered the shopping system through my Home Page as explained here.) If you see anyone else's name, or the system prompts you to search for a demonstrator, please exit the system, close your browser, and try again - being sure to enter through my Home Page and then selecting the "Shop Now" button. But if things continue to look suspicious, then you might try using another browser, and if that doesn't resolve the problem, ask Stampin' Up! or myself for assistance.
Q: You used to give me hostess benefits if my personal order qualified (was $150 in product or greater). Can I still get those hostess benefits if I order online?
A: Yes! But instead of being called "hostess benefits" (since there really is no "hostess" in this case), the system calls your rewards (free product) something else. But it all still works the same, and you'll get the same value. The system will guide you through your selections if your order qualifies at $150 or more (in merchandise).
Q: I already have a Great Rewards card going with you; will my online order still count towards filling the squares on my Great Rewards card?
A: Yes! I will monitor the orders that are placed under my name and sign off a square on your Great Rewards card - just like I have already been doing. However, when your card is full and you're ready to redeem it, then you will need to place *that* order directly through me, as there is no way to apply an individual credit or discount (from me) against an online order.
Q: If Stampin' Up! has a special sale going on, will that be available for online orders, too?
A: In most cases, yes - and it will be applied automatically. AND there may occasionally be specials offered ONLY for online orders, too. But please keep in mind that any discounts that *I* may occasionally offer as a demonstrator cannot be applied to online orders, as there is currently no way to apply an individual discount (from a demonstrator) against an online order.
Q: Why must I create a customer account to shop online?
A: Your customer account helps tie you and your order to the demonstrator through whom you have chosen to place your order. This is necessary for appropriate commissions and credit to be given behind the scenes. Additionally, your information is used for shipping purposes, and also allows the demonstrator to know who is ordering through her so she might send you appropriate follow-up information. You should only have to create your account the first time you shop with me - and after that, you'll just sign in. (Be sure to record the password you chose, though, as I will not have access to it!)
Q: May I place orders through different demonstrators, or must I always use the same one?
A: You may choose any active demonstrator you wish (within your own country), but of course we would HOPE you would establish a relationship with your demonstrator and select the same one each time. You may only designate one demonstrator per order, of course.
Q: Can you explain the shipping/handling fee?
A: As long as you specify a specific demonstrator at the time of your online order, your shipping/handling fee will be accessed the same way it would be if your demonstrator submitted it on your behalf - but without combining it with someone else's order. Here's how it works:
Stampin' Up! charges a minimum s/h fee of $6.95 on every shipment that leaves the warehouse. So orders smaller than $69.50 will pay $6.95 s/h, even if the merchandise total is very small.
But for orders greater than $69.50, the s/h fee is a straight 10% of the merchandise total. So as you can see, if you wish to avoid that minimum $6.95 s/h fee, you may want to group your orders into larger amounts. On a percentage basis, your s/h fee will be less if your merchandise total comes to $69.50 or greater, and you therefore pay only 10%.
Q: Can I avoid sales tax if I place my orders online?
A: Sales tax will be charged based on where your order ships to. You will pay the sales tax according to your own local taxing district.
Q: May I place my Stampers 30 Club order online?
A: Because all Club orders must be turned in together as a unit in order to qualify for the appropriate hostess benefits, at this time you may not place those orders online. Please continue submitting your Club orders to me directly.
Q: If I am hosting an upcoming workshop, can my friends place their orders online and have it count towards my workshop?
A: At this time online orders cannot be credited to another workshop or Club order. Therefore, your friends should submit their orders to you - and then we'll write them up on an order form and include them at the time I submit your workshop as a whole. If your friend was to submit an order online, it would not count towards your workshop.
Q: What if I still have questions?
A: Call or email me!
